ENABLE INTERNET CONNECTION (DIAL UP) WHILE SWITCHING USERS

When Fast User Switching is enabled, it’s useful to keep one dial-up Internet connection open. And if one connection is not kept open, during Fast User Switching the guest account will not be able to access the Internet using a dial-up connection. The following entry in the Registry will stop the prompt that closes the connection when changing users under Windows XP:
step1:
Click Start, click Run, and type Regedit.
step2:
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon.
step3:
Right-click within the right pane, point to New, and then click String Value.
step4:
Name the value KeepRasConnections.
step5:
Double-click KeepRasConnections, and set the value data to 1.
