iLO DVT FW Engineer I
Required is a Systems Software / Firmware Test Engineer to work in the Lights-Out Management firmware Quality Assurance team, defining developing, and executing the test plans for the new Lights-Out management features and technologies. The successful candidate must be experienced in server configuration and software testing. The opportunity exists to work in an exciting, high profile, fast paced, but structured QA environment. The ability to participate as part of a team and work within tight schedules is required.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Knowledge and Skills
- Direct skills in programming in Visual Basic Scripting and Perl is required.
- Experience in programming in C/C++, Java, or other modern programming languages will be helpful.
- Experience in installing / configuring of the Windows and Linux Health drivers, HPSIM, Server Agents is a must.
- Must possess a very solid understanding of testing methodologies
Further skills in the following areas is highly desirable:
Expert in developing test scripts in HP QuickTest Professional
Expert in using HP Quality Center
Excellent knowledge of HP ProLiant or HP Integrity servers
Knowledge of HP Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition (RILOE)
Knowledge of HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) technologies
