Job Description :
Member of the silicon validation team working on USB and Ethernet ASIC’s . Need to create and execute validation test plans, ASIC bring-up , Test automation using Labview and NI modules , debug test issues in PCBs, firmware, software, scripts, analyze test results databases and documentation. Need to work closely with designers, verification engineers, software engineers, applications engineers .
Job Requirements :
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (or equivalent).
· 1 to 3 years of experience in ASIC Validation or Hardware design
· Knowledge in Firmware and applications development .
· Knowledge on serial protocols like I2C , SPI , SM bus.
· Hands-on experience in using test and measurement tools including high-speed oscilloscopes, function generators, Logic and network analyzers, Power supplies.
· Understating and hands-on experience on USB 2.0 based device and hub product designs.
· Proficiency in IEEE 802. 3 specifications and working experience in NIC , Switches and Industrial Ethernet specs like EtherCAT
· Excellent debugging and problem solving skills with good logical approach.
· Good experience with board-level schematic and layout design required.
· Guiding and working in a team environment .
· Should be flexible and independent in carrying out the job responsibilities.
· Willingness to work across different times zones .
· Need to have the ability to listen , understand , plan and execute.
· Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills required.
Preferred:
· Experience in CPLD/FPGA designs using Verilog/VHDL. Building simple test benches and bring-up of programmable devices
· Scripting expertise in any of the scripting languages
· Test automation using Labview and NI modules like SMU , DMM , HSDIO , switch matrix etc . in semiconductor domain
